Whilst his classmates were panicking, recovering and/or gathering a means of self-defence, Junichi was in a firm state of denial: he simply refused to believe the situation. Therefore, since he had time to k- waste, he was going about his business by crossing something off of his figurative to-do list.

'He should be here, right?' Jun thought. 'The castle's big but he shouldn't have doubled back without passing me...'

He'd visited almost every room before coming to this area, hoping to ignore spaces as wide as the foyer, but it seemed like he'd have to brave the main entrance at least. The brunet steeled his nerves first -- fingers crossed and breath held, he peered around the corner and squinted at the double doors. A relieved puff of air shuddered out from behind his lips when he spotted the SHSL LARPer with ease, standing tall in all of his armoured glory, alone. Absently, Junichi wondered why the Ultimate had circled back here after their briefing about child psychology, but he called out nonetheless.

"Excuse me, Shishi? Can I talk to you for a second?"

If he had any comments about the literal meaning of Ishin's surname, they didn't come forth; Jun instead raised his hand about face-level to draw attention to himself. He probably looked awkward, leaning into the door frame with the majority of his body outside of it, but he couldn't bring himself to move much further forward.
